Comfortable in Black and White

So I have quite a bit of explaining to do… Where have I been?! Honestly, everywhere and nowhere. I was very poorly for two weeks, traveled to Milan and Paris for a week, and had two University assignments to do. That’s kind of why the blog has taken a backseat for the last three weeks, but I’ve also just been feeling a little uninspired in terms of writing and fashion/music. In terms of fashion, I’ve just been seeing the same style replicated a thousand times on Instagram, and it’s just… boring. With music, I haven’t listened to any new stuff for a while, apart from Jaden Smith’s Syre. That was fire. Continue reading “Comfortable in Black and White”

The Perfect Denim Jacket

Denim Jackets are probably my go-to jackets because they’re so easy to wear – you can layer it with a simple tee or even a light hoodie/sweatshirt. I bought a black ZaraMan denim jacket nearly a year ago and I’ve managed to get so many wears out of it through all of the seasons. Recently, I’ve decided to add some colour to my wardrobe and buy a blue denim jacket. What I find difficult about buying blue denim is that some colours are way too light while some are just too dark. This is a “Blue Mid Wash”. Continue reading “The Perfect Denim Jacket”

Crep Check: Adidas, Nike, Clarks

Shoes are definitely one of my favourite items of clothing (if you can call them that) because there’s just so many different styles to choose from – sneakers, boots, heels, sliders – and they can really define an outfit. For me, sneakers make up 95% of my shoe collection, from NMDs to CDG Converses. Every so often, I go through a phase where I’ll buy a couple of pairs of shoes at a time and then nothing for a while after. That phase came a few weeks ago when I decided to buy three pairs of shoes that are all quite different from each other… because why not? Continue reading “Crep Check: Adidas, Nike, Clarks”

Outfit of the Day

This is definitely one of my favourite outfits I’ve ever done, and I think it’s got something to do with the fact that there is no better feeling than wearing new clothes for the first time! I love the transition from Summer to Autumn because it’s not hot enough to go out in just a tee and it’s not yet cold enough to put on a million layers. Continue reading “Outfit of the Day”

LPU: OtherUK Flannel Jacket

Most of you probably haven’t heard of OtherUK – they’re a British streetwear and lifestyle brand founded by Nicky Other in 2011. Their products range from basic tees and hoodies to European-made denim to British made footwear. They most recently released their Athletic Capsule, which I hope to pick up a few things from! As well as that, they have been teasing us with their new AW17 collection, one of their “most conceptual and technical collections to date.” I’m interested in seeing the direction they’ve chosen to take. Continue reading “LPU: OtherUK Flannel Jacket”

Sale Steals: Topman

As the Spring/Summer season comes to a close, it’s time to get all my Autumn/Winter clothes ready, and for me, that literally just means using my whole wardrobe to layer up. More importantly, it means that end of season sale is on! I’m in the process of clearing out my wardrobe in time for going back to University so I’ve been a lot more picky with the clothes I’m buying. Continue reading “Sale Steals: Topman”

So… I’m finally doing it! I’ve started a blog.

A lot of people think about starting a blog but never actually do it, or they do and they forget about it after a while. For me, I just wasn’t that interested in anything. Sure, I like food and music and sports, but what can I write about that thousands haven’t already made blog posts about? Continue reading “Hello”
